People are divided on how technology is being used between and amongst the generations. Technology deserves to be used in the way in which it was intended--to educate, connect, and grow. Knowing the importance of education, as well as having access to it, are amongst the key factors for powerful change. Our mission is to make a new culture where kids, teens, adults, and seniors feel like a truly connected community through the technology we use with a focus to promote higher education and our innovative visions.
Our hope is that by the end of 2017 we have a supportive community that--together--propelled us into a new era that utilizes technology for the betterment of society--to connect and educate us all on a personal level.
17movement is currently working with
17movement works closely with the Students of Strength Foundation to raise awareness on the importance of equal access to education across the nation. Students of Strength is an online app that provides 24/7 tutoring to grades 5 through freshman year of college. 17movement is hosting fundraisers and campaigning to support and sponsor students who would not otherwise have access to quality tutoring. All proceeds donated to Students of Strength Foundation go directly to the non-profit branch of the organization. The money is allocated to tutoring, textbooks, and college scholarships for promising underprivileged youth.
